Image Editing & Inpainting

Not every generated image is perfect. Learn to edit specific areas without regenerating the entire image.

What is Inpainting?

Inpainting allows you to:

  • Mask a specific area of an image
  • Describe what you want in that area
  • Regenerate just that portion

The AI blends the new content seamlessly with the original image.

How to Edit an Image

  1. Select a frame with a generated image
  2. Click "Edit Image" in the sidebar
  3. Use the brush tool to mask the area you want to change
  4. Write a prompt describing what should replace it
  5. Click "Apply Edit"

Editing Tools

  • Brush - Paint the mask area
  • Eraser - Remove parts of the mask
  • Brush Size - Adjust for precision
  • Undo/Redo - Fix mistakes

Use Cases

Fix a face:

Mask the face area, prompt: "A smiling young woman with brown eyes, photorealistic"

Change an object:

Mask a lamp, prompt: "A modern minimalist floor lamp with warm lighting"

Add something:

Mask empty space, prompt: "A fluffy orange cat sitting on the chair"

Remove something:

Mask the object, prompt: "Empty wooden floor, same lighting and style"

Tips for Better Edits

  1. Mask slightly larger than the area you want to change
  2. Include context in your prompt about the surrounding scene
  3. Match the lighting description to the original image
  4. Be patient - complex edits may need multiple attempts
